It is more laided back in it's production value compared to stage 5, with layer usage being 1 at a time like stage 4. It's defining feature is how songs are slowed down by a large amount, causing the ambient feel of the album. The cover art here is "Necrotomigaud" by Ivan Seal.

Place In The World Fades Away begins with the same layer used in Long Decline Is Over. At the 6 minute mark, a nice organ piece plays, that uses A Song Of Sunshine from Leyland's very rare organ vinyl . This piece is not scrambled. Then at the 15 minute mark, the music cuts out for 10 seconds, then plays a higher quality version of Friends Past Reunited, and it's not scrambled. After it's finished, the album ends with exactly 1 minute of silence.
