Hello and welcome to the singles and mixes page for The Caretaker alias. Some of these albums and songs will be discussed on other pages but I care about this one for now.

In The Swing Of Things can be listened to without modification here It's a slowed down version of Cornsilk by Geraldo (0:00 - 1:21) It is taken from the "Hits Of WW2" album, meaning it's an outtake from Persistent Repetition Of Phrases.
London Town You Haunt Me Night And Day can be heard without modification here It samples London Town You Haunt Me by Stanley Holloway It uses (1:21 - 2:42) and loops 4 times. As you can by sampling a song from "Highlights Of The Co-optimists" it's an outtake from Persistent Repetiton Of Phrases.

Next up is this performance. The Caretaker Live At Mutek 2010 I'm not sure what songs are used here, but I can tell you a few I recognize. There's a lot s/t leyland kirby songs in here, one I can identify is "A Longing To Be Absorbed For A While Into A Different And Beautiful World" from Sadly The Future Is No Longer What It Was, we have a unique song that samples the same song used in memory 12 (go to the tpaa page for info on that), Memory 10 is used, Isolated Lights On The Abyss Of Ignorance is used, A Stairway To The Stars (the song) is used, after that is a V/Vm song, that melody is The Way We Were by Barbra Streisand, but the exact artist I'm not sure.
After that we have an An Empty Bliss Beyond This World outtake. End Detections It samples Boulevard Of Breaks Dreams by Hal Kemp (0:00 - 0:23) and loops 6 times. It was featured on the Ad Hoc Compilation.

How about this mix, The BBC Radio Mix which uses: End Detections (hey we just talked about that), unreleased memory (9), Memory 28 without the reversed instance, But The Stars Had Come Out, The Quilter Standard, Camaraderie At Arms Length (Remembered Differently), the outtake from Patience, and A Stairway To The Stars by No. 1 Balloon Centre Dance Orchestra taken from the "Hits Of WW2" album.
You may listen to 2 of these songs in isolation, Camaraderie At Arms Length (Remembered Differently) which uses the same sample as the regular song but instead uses the section from (0:58 - 1:45) and loops 3 times instead of 6. The other is the outtake from patience which is just a shorter and looped version of Sebald (the song) in Extra Patience.

This first recordings begins with The Great Hidden Sea Of The Unconscious, then there's a part that uses the layer of All You Are Going To Want To Do Is Get Back There and An Empty Bliss Beyond This World, then some trumpets still unknown to this day, then a part that uses Libet's Delay, then it plays unreleased song (30) unmodified, as well as some excerpts from Benjamin Beyond Bliss, then a unique song plays, here's a recreation it samples I Used To Love You by Charlie Spivak and uses (0:15 - 0:40) in the video. And the last part uses a part of Dear Lord Beneath Thy Cross I Bow which I discussed earlier. This isn't it doe, as various other clips have been leaked as well. Our next track is a audio file that appears on an official art gallery page for Ivan Seal. I dub this song The Marimba Song due to sampling 3 songs by the Imperial Marimba Band (all sourced from USCB Cylinder Archive) The main melody is Serenade D'amour around 1:45 into the track, The Crocodile begins playing in the background. Around 3 minutes in: Love Nest Medley begins playing.
Next up is the 2019 Mix It begins with an unreleased original song, then we have a unique unreleased caretaker song, which you can listen to here it's moreso an extended and unpitchmapped version of Sublime Beyond Loss, it uses (0:14 - 3:23) of Stardust by Charlie Spivak, coindentaly ending where Sublime Beyond Loss begins, then we get 2 unique stage 5 layers (songs they use I'm unsure) and we end with Gone Forever by Roy Fox .
Next up is the Primavera live performance It begins with an original Leyland song mixed with some other songs, then a unique layer that scrambles Late Afternoon Drifting and The Quilter Standard, then a scene from the shining where Jack orders drinks from Lloyd, then then many stage 5 layers, then I Might Be Vanishing, then a unique song that samples You Must Have Been A Beautiful Baby by Russ Morgan recreation here. Then Lullaby Of The Leaves by Reginal King plays. Then Of Grace And Providence, then we get scrambled parts of Deleted Scenes Forgotten Dreams Parts 1 and 2 (which is used in stage 4 and 5 fyi), then we get a scrambled Libet's Delay, then we hear a scene from "the shining" when Jack orders drinks from Lloyd, while this happens, All You Are Going To Want To Do Is Get Back There and a stage 5 layer plays, Plaque Advanced Despair is in this layer, then a slowed down version of Goodnight My Beautiful by Russ Morgan (full thing) plays, then unreleased memory (11) plays unscrambled which is a surprise, then And Heart Breaks plays, then All You Are Going To Want To Do Is Get Back There plays again, then unreleased memory (28) plays unscrambled which is also a surprise, then Mournful Camaraderie plays, then Midnight Cowboy by Johnny Mathis plays, then a part of Advanced Plaque Entanglements 2 plays, then a performance of Midnight Cowboy by The Poly High School Band . One more song I forgot to add, one day around 2022 ish, Leyland uploaded a song called We Are In The Shadow Of A Distant Fire to his official "vvmtest" channel. It was unlisted about a month later.
